Mikeisha’s Davis is a senior Theatre Arts major at Howard University, upon entering into this department, she was somewhat shy, very timid, and afraid to share her voice. Now she gracefully allows her voice to be heard. It is also her duty to be a vessel to tell beautiful stories about others. Mikeisha has been very successful at Howard University winning accolades and awards such as “Most Improved Development as A Dancer”, and presented as one of the Theatre Arts Students who “Risked It All”. Mikeisha’s parents have always instilled in her that success means nothing if she has not used her skills and talents to help those less fortunate than herself. Upon graduation, it is Mikeisha’s goal to establish a non-profit performing arts school. Ryan Jamaal Swain, a senior Acting major, has spent the last 15 years in the magical city of Birmingham, AL studying his craft as an actor, singer, and dancer. He is a firm believer that God has truly blessed him with the power to serve the people through the performing arts. He was named Outstanding Freshman Artist at Howard University in 2013.  As a Fine Arts Bison, Ryan knows that he is standing on the shoulders of giants like Ossie Davis, Toni Morrison, Donny Hathaway, Phylicia Rashad, and Lynn Whitfield.   As King Collegiate DMV 2016, Ryan intends to enact his platform, K.I.N.G., which is an acronym for Knowledge Invoking Nobility and Grandeur, a program that will develop the world’s new Black male stereotype, a stereotype that gives HOPE to young men, a stereotype that seeks to change society’s prejudice views of black males, the stereotype that speaks to the KING in all of us.
